Reports are in now from the 23rd annual Berkley Springs Water Tasting. The waters were rated based on attributes like appearance, aroma, taste, and aftertaste.
First on the list is Best Municipal Water, in other words “tap water.” The winner was water from Emporia, Kansas. If you’ve been looking for a reason to visit Kansas, now you have one.
Winners in the other four categories were:
• Best Bottled Water: “Canadian Gold Artesian Water,” from Marchand, Manitoba
• Best Sparking Water: “Touch Sparking Mineral Water,” from Marchand, Manitoba
• Best Packaging: “Lumen,” from Dallas, Texas
• Best Purified Drinking Water: “Rain Fresh,” from Garland, Texas
