[aka Leland (Lee) Carlson]

This is a place in cyberspace where dullsters,  their friends and families, and admirers can discuss the joys we find in everyday, mundane, dull things. “Celebrating the Ordinary” is our motto.

We avoid the glitz and glam. We don’t need to keep up with the latest fads. We enjoy what we already have instead of constantly moving on to the next big thing. We are not always trying to achieve and acquire more. We don’t suffer from moreitus.

We avoid today’s “busier than ever” way of living. For us, it’s JOMO (joy of missing out), not FOMO (fear of missing out).

The DMC began when I lived in New York City. To bypass the glitz and glam of the city, with some like-minded friends we formed a club. We called it the Dull Men’s Club. Its motto is Celebrating the Ordinary. Though it started with men, women now belong too. Each year, it produces a calendar focusing on quirky passions.
