The Belgian reading association BOEK set a new world record for the longest book domino chain.
They did this to celebrate books and promote reading, the 614 meter or 670 yard long trail took just six minutes to run its course. And this tale had a happy ending … festive fireworks.
They spent a whole night setting up 4,845 books in a 600-metre domino chain before knocking them all down.
two hours to set up, six minutes to be all knocked down.
The previous winners, from South Africa, held the title for a chain that had 2,850 books in it.
