Saturday I was in Edinburgh to be at the showing of our film “Born to Be Mild.”
Audience reaction was wonderful. I watched people sitting in front of me. They were chuckling much of the time — sometimes outright laughter.
(I should point out that we dull men prefer chuckling. To chuckle, according to Webster’s, means to laugh quietly, inwardly — most appropriate for us, right?)
Comments overheard:
• “Hilarious”
• “I didn’t realize there were organizations like the ones in your film.”
• “I’ve never seen men having so much fun doing such ordinary things like that.”
• “Thanks for letting us know about this stuff.”
