87th Annual National Marbles Tournament — June 21-25, 2010

The marbles tournament will be held this year for four days, June 21-25. It is expected that marble shooters — “mibsters” — will play over 1,200 games during these four days.

The game played at the tournament is called “The Ringer.” Thirteen marbles are placed to form an “X” in a circle that is ten feet wide. The player that shoots seven marbles out of the ring wins.

There is a long list of rules — The Offiical Rules of the Marbles Tournament — that dull men will enjoy reading.
