Words Matter Week — March 4-10
Life would be impossible if there were no words. How would we know where we are, where we have been, where we are going, what we are supposed to be doing now?
As for the word “dull” — it’s a four-letter word we are trying to give a good name to. When it comes to life itself, we find that living a dull life has benefits. It end us in contentment, peace of mind.
And we think dull on a global level. We have a project underway—what is dull in languages around the world?
Here’s what we have so far:
- French: “terne”
- Spanish: “aburrido”
If you speak a language other than English, French, Spanish — what is “dull” in your language? Please email it to us: contactus@dullmen.com
