Dear DMC,
A characteristic of dull men is that we do not like surprises. We want to be ready for whatever happens. We avoid the unexpected and expect the expected. A truly dull man always plans well ahead.
Accordingly, mark the calendar for an appropriate event all dull men can enjoy: National Fossil Day.
In the U.S., it’s celebrated on October 12 this year. Whether this special day is marked in the U.K. and elsewhere I don’t know.
