It’s a day to return to seriousness after April Fool’s Day. It’s when PB&J lovers take the making and enjoying their sandwiches seriously.
PB&J’s origins
The most likely story according to our research is that the sandwich was concocted by American soldiers fighting oversea in WWII. Peanut butter and jelly were in the Army rations. The soldiers simply combined the two. They won the war.
