CroDough

Similar to the “duffin” we blogged about at London’s Bea’s of Bloomsbury last week, today Denver’s Edge Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel is unveiling their new  “crodough, ” a cross between a donut and a croissant.

Today, for fall,  the crodough’s flavor is pumpkin.

The price normally is $10 per crodough. Today, however, as a fund raiser for World Food Day, the price from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. will be $3. Edge will be donating the balance to Community Food Share.

Warning: because they are made fresh on site, the restaurant warns customers to be prepared to wait at least ten minutes for their crodoughs.
