A local tortoise, after exploring the Wylye Valley for two months, safely returned to its family in Dinton.
This tortoise’s journey apparently was one of those “it’s difficult to keep that dog on the porch” situations: the tortoise’s owner, Ray Hand, thinks his pet was cause th the call of mating season. He says he’ll keep a closer eye on it from now on.
