Day 1

Again this year we start off with slippers — always a safe bet to give a dull man. Slippers are comfortable and practical, two key things in a dull man’s life.

Comfortable because of cushioned soles and soft fabric surrounding the foot.

Practical because they prevent slipping (but then why are they called slippers?)

Practical because they are easy to slip on (ah, so that’s why they’re called slippers)
