I found the dripping too fast and was glad of the warning regarding the soundtrack. The drips were not only sudden but seemed to possess an unsettling musicality. However, played at 1/4 normal speed and muted it was quite dull and I let it run while reading some four figure logarithmic tables.
Thank you for your suggestion as I had previously written off the products of the maple tree as being entirely too stimulating. This was very pleasant.
