Blog shot of photo Stonehenge

Recently, on October 27 in Europe and November 3 in the U.S., we changed our clocks back from daylight saving time to standard time.

We blogged back then about staying up late (a rare thing for us to do) along with Larry King (probably not a rare thing for him to do) to watch the time change from daylight saving time back to standard time.

We are thankful it happened in one night, thanks fo modern technology. This has not always been the case. A while back, it took much longer. This is depicted in the drawing shown above.

The drawing might well have been a caveman drawing, although it is by Robert Thompson and published in Private Eye. We came across it recently when it was mentioned in The Week.

An interesting thing to notice in the drawing is that they had nagging wives even way back in those earlier times.
