There was a fine photograph in yesterday’s Guardian newspaper of a milk bottle collection. I believe it belonged to “Ken” who will be familiar to many readers from his appearance in Gordon Thorburn’s book Men and Sheds (page 62).
Sadly the photo is not available on line, so here is a related link. Does milk bottle collecting qualify as a safe form of excitement?
