The page give us important trivia:
- More than 90% of the world’s rhubarb is grown, according to the page, in “the world famous rhubarb triangle of Leeds, Wakefield and Morley.”
- The first rhubarb of the year is harvested by candlelight in a dark wooden shed.
This also is a Facebook group page. It has 37 members (as of February 27, 2011). It’s creator is Ellie Equizi in Manchester (England).
The page says rhubarb is a very understated vegetable. Something in common with dull men, we think.
The page has a poem in praise of “the mighty rhubarb.”
