Dear DMC,
One thing I like about winter is watching falling snow.
For me, watching falling snow is calming. In fact, even though it wasn’t snowing outside, I got through the stresses of Christmas staying in and watching videos of falling snow. My favorite is this one, which is in snow motion:

Same for New Year’s Eve. I stayed home and practiced writing 2011 over and over again (so I could hit the ground running January 1 — no mistakes when writing checks and signing other things). In the background, I had the falling snow video.
